Pilgrims mingle with a few tourists at the tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, the companion and standard bearer of the Prophet Muhammad, adjacent to the Eyup Sultan Mosque, Istanbul. In this photo people examine, some weeping, at a stone said to bear the footprint of Muhammad. Today it's considered as the second place of pilgrimage for Muslims after Mecca.
